Since it was born a few months ago, the Semantic Valley Consortium is suggesting a reflection on the semantics as an essential part in developing a virtuous ecosystem in Provincia Autonoma di Trento.

We will talk about artificial intelligence with Chris Welty of IBM Watson Project and about society, market and economic development with Roger Abravanel, Mckinsey Director Emeritus and essayist. The President of the Consortium Alberto Sangiovanni Vincentelli will present the Semantic Valley project and the sinergy between research and industry.

At the round table we also will listen to Lorenzo Dellai, President of Provincia Autonoma di Trento, Franco Bernabè, Telecom President, Guido Vetere, Manager & Research Coordinator, IBM Center for Advanced Studies Rome, Fausto Giunchiglia University of Trento and President Trento RISE and Nicola Guarino, ISTC-CNR Laboratory for Applied Ontology.

The event is the starting point for developing and spreading a culture about innovation linked to the semantic technologies market.

The Consortium aims at promoting the skills on the Provincia Autonoma di Trento territory, together with Public Administration, enterprises and high education structures in order to create an ecosystem of innovation development.
